Getting here
From Akureyri you will be driving on road 1, through Hrútafjörður fjord. Take a right turn to 68, just before reaching Staðarskáli, and then soon after passing the tiny village Borðeyri, you take a left turn on 59. This road you drive to the end. Turn left onto 60 and then on, until you see a left turn to 586. This is our valley, and the road will lead you directly to us.

From the Snaefellsnes Peninsula you are most likely coming on the north side of the peninsula, driving road 54. Drive through to the end and then turn left on 60. There is a right turn just after the junction (300m) the road 586 will lead you to us.

From Reykjavik/Borgarnes you drive the Ring Road 1, pass a tiny village called Bifröst and shortly after that you find a left turn to 60. You will drive for about half an hour (across a mountain area etc.), reaching a right turn to 586, which is the road to Eiríksstaðir.

From the West Fjords you drive on 60 past the village Búðardalur, pass junction with 59, and continue 60 until you reach a left turn to 586 and that is our valley, where you will reach us.
