Getting here

From Akureyri, you will be driving on Ring Road 1, through Hrútafjörður fjord. Turn right onto road 68, just before reaching Staðarskáli, and then soon after passing the tiny village Borðeyri, turn left onto road 59. Drive this road to the end. Turn left onto road 60 and drive on until you see a left turn to road 586. This is our valley, and the road will lead you directly to us.

From the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, you are most likely approaching on the north side of the peninsula, driving road 54. Drive all the way to the end and then turn left onto road 60. There is a right turn just after the junction (300m) where you can turn onto road 586, which will lead you to us.

From Reykjavik/Borgarnes, you drive the Ring Road 1, pass a tiny village called Bifröst and shortly after that you find a left turn to road 60. Drive road 60 for about half an hour (across a mountain pass etc.), reaching a right turn to road 586, which is the road to Eiríksstaðir.

From the West Fjords, you drive on road 60 past the village Búðardalur, pass the junction with road 59, and continue on road 60 until you reach a left turn to road 586: that is our valley, where you will reach us.
